Ms. Lawrance lives in a small village where she loves to write. When she was a child, she always knew in the back of her mind that she wanted to be a writer. She would write short stories here and there. Writing has always been a hobby of hers, and it still is. Writing is something that she’s always loved to do. Later on, in the beginning of her freshman year, she came up with an idea for Midnight Nova. As time went on, it turned into a book series, and she continued to develop her characters and the plots for the books.

D. D. Lawrance finds writing very self-therapeutic. She feels at peace while writing as her plots and characters continue to blossom and take control of their world.
