About the Author
Is D. D. Lawrance part of your real name?
No. No part of my pseudonym/penname, D. D. Lawrance, has anything to do with my real name.
How did you come up with your pseudonym/penname?
I came up with my pseudonym back in high school, and it just kind of stuck with me until a few years ago. I plan on changing it soon.
I'll keep writing the Midnight Nova Series under my pseudonym, D. D. Lawrance, of course. However, anything written outside the series will be published under a different pseudonym.
Do you have other Stories/Books published under your pseudonym, D. D. Lawrance?
Before the publication of Midnight Nova, I published On Halloween Night: A Short Story, under my pseudonym, D. D. Lawrance in 2012.
What is your new pseudonym going to be?
I'm not ready to reveal that yet; it'll be revealed when I'm ready to publish a book outside the Midnight Nova Series.
What is your real name?
Haha! Nice try!
Where are you from?
Somewhere in the United States.
Where do you live?
Inside my mind. 😂
But seriously though, I don't have to tell you that.
Where are you on social media?
You'll find the links to my social media accounts at the bottom of each page. Although, I don't post very often.
How often are you on social media?
I'm on it enough for my own liking. It don't let it consume my life, otherwise it would get in the way of my writing and everyday life.
About the Books
How did you get the idea for the Midnight Nova Series?
It's kind of a two parter: I innitially came up with the idea of Jordyn, Faithlyn and Justice while I was in my freshman English class (which was a long time ago).
I came up with the ideas for the Wolfilims durring some very vivid dreams I had during that time, and it just kind of snowballed from there.
Who is your favorite character to write for?
It's kind of hard for me to answer that one.
If I really had to choose, at the moment... Edwin; he's the one that interests me the most right now.
Is Justice really as bad as what Jai says he his?
Mmm... I wish there was a simple answer to that one.
Keep reading and following the story.
Why would you end the first book like that?!
I like cliffhangers. More specifically, I like writing them, just enough to keep my readers guessing. Plus, I really think that final bit of information that's given toward the end of Midnight Nova sets the tone for the second book.
Although, I have been told recently that I, "left too much of a cliff hanger on the first one, and should do better next time." ...
Oh well...
*sips tea*
Can't please everyone, I suppose.
What happens next in book 2?!
I suppose you'll have to wait and find out. I promise you, the next book is coming out SOON!
